That and grieving for an ex while you’re currently in a relationship can be complicated to navigate for everyone involved. I hope Pete is as supportive, understanding, and patient as she needs.

Now playing

Outside of this site and magazines marketed to suburban moms, I think most people see through her sainthood shtick. Cameron Diaz once backed out of a movie when she learned that Garner was attached. Kevin Smith said she was super controlling and completely alienated him from Ben. Ditto for Damon. She also outed him as

Not to mention her latest film is racist AF.

Oh good, I’m not the only one. I don’t mind her as an actress, but there’s something about her that feels so off-putting as a person. The headline cites her devoted friendship as a mark in Garner’s favor, but to me it’s just confirmation that both of them are as awful as I believe them to be.

I’m excited about the dog.

I just assumed he memorized his lines during the 90 minute shower.

She says “before,” not “before us.” And the editing of the clip makes it impossible to know what point in time she’s demarcating as “before” and “after.”

What? No. Tell me that’s a shortlist of potential My Little Pony characters, not human children who will one day be human adults.

Because it’s a scathing insult framed as empathy.

But that wasn’t exactly Macdonald’s statement, now was it? What he actually said was that CK and Roseanne’s losses were greater than that of their victims which is so profoundly wrong I can’t even begin to parse it.

I am living for the backhanded shadiness of this comment.

Then you haven’t been paying attention.

Replying to you since the troll below you deleted my comment:

Yes, I have been in a situation in which someone I considered a friend was accused of behavior that was anathema to me. I believed his victims and listened to everything they had to say, and then I used my influence as his friend to help him find and demonstrate accountability.

I love the scene in Belle when the other household’s servant teaches her how to brush her hair!

There is no time before POC arrived to Europe. We were always there, it’s just exceedingly rare that period pieces acknowledge that.

I like Call the Midwife and it reminds me of my mother who attended nursing school in 1960s London, but I had to stop watching it because every episode is a tearjerker. I miss Chummy since she was a reliable source for humor.

I somehow feel like appreciation for JLC will rise in the wake of Carrie Fisher’s passing. She slots into the role of no-nonsense Hollywood royalty fantasy auntie quite nicely.

Me too! I’m going to start calling you Whiskeyprayer, Twice Removed.

You know that “tio” is just the Spanish word for “uncle” and not his name? He was first introduced through Tuco who called him Tio because he was his nephew. Everyone else, including Gus, calls him Hector or Don Salamanca.
