In hindsight, another weird thing about Quantum is that in the previous AntMan movies, all those teenie tiny quantum zones were REALLY trippy and bizarre, which made those places really look like an alien place in a different mindset. in Quantumania, they just basically said “eh, whatever, it’s just another planet…
I don't understand the idea of "it needs a few years to go away." I mean, if YOU don't want to deal with any marvel stuff for a few years, there's nothing stopping you from watching their movies, TV shows, posting in links about them, etc. But if other people still want to watch them, why should they be punished…
The biggest issue with Quantumania is that the Ant Man movies really should be relatively low-key affairs with clever goofiness of tiny things enlarging and large thing being shrunk. Instead it turned into typical RAISE THE STAKES SAVE THE PLANET Superhero stuff with none of the cleverness.
I pretty much disregard these early hot tokes for any movie...but...
It’s just an alternate timeline where something else happened that didn’t happen in “our” main story. (In this case, Peggy took the serum instead of Steve, and there’s another timeline where alligators have evolved to the be equivalent of humans, which is part joke).
I generally have a hard time believing that there are hordes of people clamoring for a redo of a Blade movie, especially after the success of....Morbius? Marvel horror stuff is such a super niche thing.
Yeah....of all things to worry about retconning in Doctor Who, this seems very small on the scale of things if you are really, really concerned with trying to make logical ramifications of all the things that have happened in show.
I don’t have a problem with the suit (as it generally hit all the checkboxes it need to check for a pre-production costume) as much as the concept of Cage as superman. His facial structure is so sleepy-eyed and v-shaped, when what you really want is someone with a wide eye’d twinkle and a very square jaw.

Back to the Future.
That’s a challenge considering Marvel has already announced Kang as a major aspect of its next set of Avengers films.
Hey, it’s Tim Cook’s kinjas account.
has now become an annual viewing tradition for many.
I’m not so sure about that. For example, “Sound of Freedom” got a 99% audience fresh score ( basically any movie that gets hawked by rightwing talking heads gets a 99% audience fresh score)
It feels like it was released primarily to time it for Disney+ October release.
I’ll tell you my Apple rant. I had a mac mini and a time machine and a bunch of iphones and what not. I was also an early adopter of digital cameras, so I had digital photos that went all the way back to 1997 or so. Including all of my kids baby photos.
It was on AMC on friday. It still holds up pretty well.
“let’s not pay the creators of things that we like” is an interesting take from a website that supports the writers strike.
If they can quietly officially change Raiders of the Lost Ark to Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark ( which is what it shows up as on all the streaming channels now ), I don’t think they’ll have a problem dropping the “part one” bit.
