I came very late into trying a Monster Hunter game....it didn’t take me long to say “screw this, I have no idea what I’m doing”.

A) Shia was fine.

I don’t know...it seems that the edge of maintaining a survivable company based on tabletop games is so small that you really need to be careful about maintaining control over everything ( or just run it as a hobby for a loss).

I would argue that “doomed to failure” simply based on revisiting a known IP is completely wrong. Aside from the covid year releases which are hard to track how to determine success, I think that all of the Disney live remakes have been successful. The Avatar sequel was successful. Same thing with Top Gun. The Wizard

It sounds like your midichlorian count is low today.

Based on people I know who have taken writing classes at Second City, where former SNL writers frequently come by to teach, being a writer on SNL is less about trying write funny skits, and much more about background political maneuvering to get “the hot performer” in your skit. So you hear these old stories about

Actually,I never get the love for Major League, which just comes off as a bad 80s sitcom that just happens to be 3 episodes long.

So, that kind of leaves me sad, I kind of want the show to turn into that early Simpsons episode where they keep having to import larger and more dangerous non-native animals to control the population of the previous non-native animal.

Actually now I'm curious as to what happens to the 3 "foundling" dragon thingies that the Mandalorians adopted. Like do they bring them to this new planet and all hell breaks loose because there's no natural predators to keep them in check?

Yeah it was kind of weird that this amazingly large thriving town only had about 25 people in it, whether they were camping in the outskirts,or welcoming 20 mandalorians to their planet. I mean, hell, you can use Blender (a free 3d program) to digitally add some blurry people in the background if needed. Surely Disney

That’s actually a good point. The trailers for the second movie really have a snyderverse vibe of death and destruction. The trailers for the first movie really centered around goofy kid-with-super-powers hijinks.

there’s been a noticeable drop in quality since Endgame.

Beyond the two lead actors, the other dancers in the original film performance were upper crust whites.

By that same thinking, isn't having a black mermaid an insult to the Dutch?

Is there a logical reason that while all the guys share the same outfit, the two women and different outfits?

I’m not sure that “the comfort she shows in her black skin" is a requirement to win an Oscar.

Considering that the entire process of who runs Wakanda is a “fight to the death”,  how is being a ruler of Wakanda NOT a noble savage?

Yeah, the other one that came to mind was Paul Newman for Color of Money.

However, sitting down in a theater was a different story and still, as a Black woman should, she was completely unbothered taking up space. She deserved to.

I think that, traditionally, usually a long-time actor who is well regarded in the Hollywood community will always win the Best Supporting Role Oscar if they have never won before. It’s very often a lifetime achievement award.
