One of the driving factors of these remakes are to keep the IP and copyright rights fresh. So it doesn’t really matter what the format actually is, as much as Disney is continually “exercising” their properties.

So, that kind of leaves me sad, I kind of want the show to turn into that early Simpsons episode where they keep having to import larger and more dangerous non-native animals to control the population of the previous non-native animal.

Actually now I'm curious as to what happens to the 3 "foundling" dragon thingies that the Mandalorians adopted. Like do they bring them to this new planet and all hell breaks loose because there's no natural predators to keep them in check?

Yeah it was kind of weird that this amazingly large thriving town only had about 25 people in it, whether they were camping in the outskirts,or welcoming 20 mandalorians to their planet. I mean, hell, you can use Blender (a free 3d program) to digitally add some blurry people in the background if needed. Surely Disney

That’s good to hear! We need more movies like The Mummy (the Brendan Fraser Rachel Weiss one), that just kind of wants to be a fun ride, the actors look like they are having fun making it, and everyone knows it instead of DARK AND HEAVY STAKES THAT MEAN SOMETHING.

By that same thinking, isn't having a black mermaid an insult to the Dutch?

Is there a logical reason that while all the guys share the same outfit, the two women and different outfits?

In what way was Boba Fett NOT a crossover event, with a third of the episodes not even following Boba Fett?

Yeah, I wanted to like Wednesday a lot more than I actually did. It got bogged down in the first half of the series with too much YA Hogwarts-styled shenanigans.

The first season of Mando worked pretty well was a mysterious stranger “man with no name” comes to town. But that only works well when Mando does the whole Dollars trilogy of the mysterious stranger doesn’t say much, and you don’t care about any kind of deep backstory.

I’m not sure that “the comfort she shows in her black skin" is a requirement to win an Oscar.

Considering that the entire process of who runs Wakanda is a “fight to the death”,  how is being a ruler of Wakanda NOT a noble savage?

Yeah, the other one that came to mind was Paul Newman for Color of Money.

This trailer is exceedingly dark for what appears to be a shot-for-shot remake.
