Not to mention that ICE vehicles are incredibly inefficient at using the energy stored into fuel into useful work.  Look at the F-150, for example.  Charge up one of the Lightning models and put the equivalent amount of energy as gasoline in the most efficient ICE version and see which one has the greater range.
