Not really road related, but this is my favorite “sad song” and someone paired some dashcam footage with it.

Were the Euro fascists funded by petroleum companies like the ones in the US?

A high speed passenger rail line from LA to Vegas would be another interesting option.

Or the leader of another criminal organization that doesn’t give a shit.

This looks like it could be fun

Surprisingly, the railroads are the best part of the infrastructure in the US.

That’s one of the scariest damn trends.  It would be one thing if EVs were just normal cars.  Nope.  Let’s make big ass heavy trucks that have 0-60 times that would beat sports cars from a few years ago.

The reduction in range is more significant because the ICE vehicle carries several times more chemical energy in the form of diesel or gasoline and is lighter.

Put a 4 gallon fuel tank in a regular F-150 and you’ll have people bitching and moaning about how often they have to stop to fill up when they’re towing as well.

IIRC, rail has always been privately owned in the US.

No mention of this from 3 years ago?

And it’s not so much about those six figure sports cars as it is about finding a way to protect all the jobs tied up producing ICE vehicles.

It’s much higher quality and luxury feel than the Tesla.

Crap.  I’m mad I missed that.  I usually watch that show and then Kolchak

Sounds like it is the time to start selling off the fleet of 20yr old beaters if prices are starting to go back up.
