Good plan. Zombies can't get in without a card.
I'm going straight to a Costco.
The first photo is so over photoshopped it looks like those photos people took of their dead babies in the 1800s.

Like a terrifying photoshop bomb went off all over that poor kid.
How about "NO. FUCK YOU. NO."
"You can watch the full speech here."
Yet they are doing away with that as well. Indiana has the most restrictive abortion laws in America, they are chipping away at sex education in schools, restricting access to birth control and doing away with financial assistance and benefits that could help mothers. How about not putting women in that position in…
My (European) country has baby boxes. We've had them for a few years and they have saved dozens of lives so far. These boxes are heated and equipped with sensors, so someone is always alerted immediately when a baby is placed in them and the baby usually spends less than ten minutes in there before someone comes and…
And extended support services for women who opt to be single moms.
The other option is of course comprehensive sex education, low cost birth control and legal abortions, all of which your state opposes at every chance.
This was my thought too. I'm looking outside my window right now at the freezing cold weather and I would much prefer that a possibly scared or confused mother had a place to put the baby that is safe from the elements in case she is not in a mental or emotional place to face actually seeing anyone else at that point.…
And for trash... there will be so many false alarms from people think they are being funny.
I agree to an extent. But while there are probably a number of people who are legit sure that giving up their baby is the right thing for them to do, and they need to be able to do so anonymously, I am sure there are also people who are giving up their babies because they think it's the only thing for them to do. I do…
Did your mom really threaten to take you guys there? That's really not the best way to deal with unruly children. Kids should know that they will be loved and cared for no matter what they do. Also, no way you would have known this as a child, but safe haven sites generally only take infants.
Jesus, that's awful. Threatening a child with that absolutely constitutes abusive parenting.
Perhaps this is just the IT support guy in me, but I would be really concerned about the likelihood that one of these would fail. Some desperate mom trying to do the right thing puts her newborn in, but there's some minor bug that prevents the 911 call from going off, and the kid dies.
Expanding the current options for safe surrender and addressing the underlying causes of abandonment aren't mutually exclusive. Anything is better than abandoning a baby in a dumpster or the side of the road, and it's unrealistic to hold out for everyone to start using safe haven sites. It would also be pretty easy to…
