I want to shit all over this and Gotham, but then I remember that when I was 12 me and my friends would have gone crazy over a show like these, so I get who DC is marketing this to.
All the discussion and fanfare over Colbert since the election has been a bit surprising, since he did an amazing show based around taking a critical and satirical look at the Bush administration for 4 years that showed off many of these same talents/skills (just packaged in-character as 'Colbert').
Going to be tragic when the Waif dies, her face falls off, and it turns out she was Syrio Florrel.
Great speech about his childhood obsession with dragons for book readers.
Bigger question for me about the Kingsmoot is whether the elements with the Horn from Old Valyria will factor in, introducing a new magical element to the show.
This. One of the weirdest logic holes in whole series so far…
Someone at LucasFilm said, "We need someone in this film to lose an arm! It's TRADITION!" Doesn't matter that it happens offscreen or that it happens to a character no one really cares much about or that he gets his normal arm back at the end…
Problem: Hood-latch DNA was found and confirmed in April 2006. The car was found Nov. 4th, 2005.

Recruiting violations, bribery, gifts to student athletes, falsification of grades, paying off refs, stealing playbooks, sex scandals, etc. Craig T. Nelson will be the one to show his son the old, classic way of running a football program, but…
I clearly understand how/why the film's portrayal of racism/stereotypes/judgment is heavy-handed and somewhat cheap/manipulative, but I actually feel less strongly today than I did when this film originally came out.

If I had to pick between this and the creepy Easter one, the Easter sketch wins over this one forever. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Still trying to find 'The Americans,' 'Brooklyn 99,' and 'The Leftovers.' Where are they?
I hope someone gets fired for the lack of great Christopher Guest projects in the last 10 years ('Family Tree' was okay, but I understand why it was cancelled).
Fuck you for making me think about Leo/John Spencer/Mrs. Landingham/Kathryn Joosten dying and Jorah dying all at the same time! :)
