I don’t HAVE an echo chamber on social media. I have many hundreds of people, from bikers and business owners to artists and educators, and everything in between, who followed me because I front and manage a really good local band.
I feel this is as close to Armageddon as I have ever been.
I am seriously not taking anyone out of the greys if they are just commenting to chastise me for wrongful appreciation of Jez. Here is what I said upthread about that, AGAIN.
My uncle’s business partner of 30 years, and his entire family, had their land taken away and were interned here in Canada as well. He was a small child, FFS.

Just a note for those giving me heck for apparently ignoring the mainstream and other media’s contributions: I said that Jez writers seem to be the only journalists even picking up on SOME of the things going on. Not ALL of the things. Not even MOST of the things. SOME of the things. I wasn’t even talking about this…
Slate and the Guardian have been pretty great also. What I like about Jez, though, is the lack of pussy-footing around things.

Yes, and also it’s not just Americans who are organizing. There is a Canadian Solidarity page on FB for Canadians who can join in this effort. If there is enough interest on SNS, it would be awesome if we can share our different pieces of info with one another.
