This looks out of this world, though I always worry how 2D games with such beautiful animation will play mechanically, especially in the genre of cinematic action platformers (Abe’s Oddysee, POP, Flashback etc..), animation priority can result in a sluggish experience. Based on the majority of reviews so far, the gut feeling I had about Biomutant, sadly, seems to have been right. I liked the look of this thing (still do), and there just seemed to be so many interesting things going on in the game world.
