There will almost certainly be an option to turn it off. Apple has been marketing the always-on display as a feature of the watch since the Series 5, and turning it off has been there since the beginning.

That trailer was exceptionally “meh.” Fairly uninteresting gunplay, combined with no feeling of impact from the weapons, with a dash of annoying, repetitive quips. I can’t imagine how rage-inducing it’ll be when you die and have to hear the same stupid jokes over and over.
