A new shower curtain liner is like $5 at Target or any other home goods store. Is it really worth it to waste water and electricity and risk getting all that nasty mildew in my washing machine and all over my towels just to save a few bucks?

I hear this a lot about the Concept 2, but how important is their recommended maintenance schedule in that longevity? My gym has a couple Concept 2s, and by the looks of them, they’ve never been maintained other than a topical wipe down. I opted to buy mine new, partially because I didn’t want to get one where someone…
This is very disappointing. I have a bunch of games for the original PSVR that I can’t play because I stupidly sold my PS4 and DualShock 4 when I got my PS5. They made such a big deal about the free adapter to connect the original PSVR to the PS5 that I forgot that a lot of games used the light bar on the DualShock 4…
It’s crazy to me how young kids are when they get braces these days. I’ve seen elementary age kids with braces, and my nieces and nephews all had them before middle school, with their orthodontists saying they’ll probably need a touch up later. I had mine in middle/high school, as did most of my friends, and I’ve…
Thanks, that’s really helpful!
There will almost certainly be an option to turn it off. Apple has been marketing the always-on display as a feature of the watch since the Series 5, and turning it off has been there since the beginning.
Wow, that’s really cool, though now I’m not going to be able to unsee it whenever I watch anything with Mickey Mouse in it.
That’s fair. I never played the original AC games, only AC:NH, during the early days of the pandemic. The article did say “modern interpretation” though, so I assumed that meant NH Tom Nook, and not the N64 rendition.
Maybe you’ve rolled your eyes at the modern interpretation of Tom Nook, Animal Crossing’s capitalist overlord. You know, the one where people try to say that it’s totally OK that he’s saddling you with crushing debt and perpetual house upgrades you don’t want, all while hand-waving away the fact that he wields a…
I don’t doubt that the newer model is cheaper to manufacture and will save Sony money over the long run, but I wonder what the break even point is after you factor in the cost of additional R&D for the new motherboard and cooling solution and retooling all of the manufacturing processes for the new design.
While fans might be excited to finally get an Assassin’s Creed set in Japan, a region of the world players have long wished for the series to visit, it sounds like you’ll need to wait a bit longer yet, as both games will reportedly launch no earlier than 2024.
For me, I’ve found the speech to vibrations intensity sweet spot at 5—just enough to “hear” characters talk but not so much that it’s distracting.
I, for one, have watched countless love interests grow disillusioned with my red hair after it starts to cover every inch of their home.
Does CheatSheet on the Mac change its cheat sheet if you’ve remapped some of the keys? I have to use Windows for most of my professional work, so I changed the function of fn, control, and option to keep myself from going insane, so it wouldn’t necessarily help me to have a cheat sheet based on the original roles of…
That trailer was exceptionally “meh.” Fairly uninteresting gunplay, combined with no feeling of impact from the weapons, with a dash of annoying, repetitive quips. I can’t imagine how rage-inducing it’ll be when you die and have to hear the same stupid jokes over and over.
I was thinking the exact same thing. My specialty isn’t psychiatry, but I deal with a lot of patients who probably have undiagnosed antisocial personality disorder in my line or work, and even the very basic definitions that every first year medical student learns would be enough to call bullshit on this post.
