I guess I’m old, but I’m not paying theater prices to watch a film that doesn’t look particularly funny. Which eliminates almost all “comedies” from recent years.

The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is Spreading.

Well, you know, we all want to change the world.

Do younger people have little shriveled bladders nowadays? I'm old(ish) and my bladder isn't in the greatest shape but I can go three hours without having to pee. But I hear this complaint in regards to movie length all the time.

I have never understood the appeal of “He-Man” let alone the fanatical devotion of some adults towards this property. I remember the cartoon when it originally aired and even as a child I thought it... wasn’t great.

Barr on a Bison!

Mao on a Mule?

You mean there is supposed to be a reason one is in the grays? I've been in them and rarely had a post go through since I first came here, and I have no idea why.

Yeah, I had the same reaction to "Lightyear" when I watched it with Mrs. Hobbes last week. We both liked it, but what did it really have to do with Toy Story? How did that connection add anything of any value to the film?

The last Pixar film we saw in theaters was “Inside Out”. My family has become accustomed to waiting for films to go to streaming where we can watch them from the comfort of home. I need a really good reason to bother going to a theater and - while it looked decent enough to me from the trailers -this movie didn’t

They had to visually represent them with something, a problem when you need to make a literal air character. Perhaps a tornado inspired design?

Seven year old me when reading LOTR freaked-out when Gandalf died. Gandalf is the wisest and most powerful member of the Fellowship, how could he possibly die! Like you, that was my first experience with a major character death in a novel. I was upset enough that my mom caved and told me he eventually comes back, and

“Love and Thunder” did well enough at getting people to watch it. Far better than it deserved for sure, because it was terrible. I thought “Eternals” was just kind of drab, but Thor actively annoyed the hell out of me its entire runtime.

I just watched “Ant-Man 3" and I didn’t like it because:

I didn't like this joke, but I guess I will just have to grin and bear it.

People say this a lot, but I was (was) interested in playing this and I’m sure there were a few of us out there. I feel a decent game was in there somewhere if it had focused on psychological horror. Gollum is insane, and there are some potentially really frightening elements of Tolkiens world for him to interact

Well I liked the music, but it wasn’t as good a film as “A Hard Days Night”.

What if Dumbo went mad and trampled people to death? What if Alice were a head-chopping ax murderer? What if Little Red Riding Hood teamed up with the Big Bad Wolf to go on a cross-country killing spree? The creativity on display boggles the mind. 🙄

If I recall correctly, TNG always had good numbers, so there was no incentive to ax it even if that first season wasn't... great.

Ok, it’s better than “Crystal Skull”. I guess that’s a start, although a large gap exists between that accomplishment and “good”. Hopefully the positivity isn’t just coming from relief that at least it isn’t THAT bad.
