The closest I've ever been to Tom Cruise is when I hired Not Tom Cruise from Cameo to create a Valentines Day message for my wife. He followed my instructions exactly and it came out great. Thats really all the Tom Cruise I will ever need.

Right. Howard isn’t an actual duck. He is a duck-like alien, and really, more of a cartoon duck-like alien.

He isn’t motivated by money itself - none of them are or they could all retire and go lay on a beach somewhere. Winning, status, power is where their hearts are.

It's not going to happen regardless, but are the Coens even planning on working together again any time soon?

They don’t have to be aliens. They could be creatures from another dimension as in ”Stranger Things”. And probably doing a "Day One" movie is so we get the origin. Which I don't care about, but whatever.

True story* - my brother’s name is “Bro”.

I, for one, am getting pretty crabby about it.

Everbodys Tarkin at me...

At the very end of the series he runs out of his home when he hears a booming voice yell “Four!” And then in horror he realizes: he is living on a golf course of giants. Unfortunately, at that moment he is crushed by a giant golf ball.

I'm going to wait for the hole series to come out before I dig into it.

Well I’m older and I didn’t know about it. Mostly because - absent a compelling reason to do so - I make no effort to learn about the personal life of actors. Most/many of the actors, writers, musicians and so forth that I like prove at some point to be garbage people, so looking too closely at them usually doesn’t

I rarely hate films - indifference is usually about as far down as it gets. But this one goes on my short hate list, I detested it from the first five minutes onward.

Provided it turned out to be decent, I guessed it would be a hit, but I wasn’t expecting it to be a “makes ALL the money” in a week kind of hit.

I really like the Dunk and Egg series - but six hours for each novella? The nice thing about them is that they are lean and focused. Six hours feels like a lot of padding is coming.

.

Right. I just read an extremely positive review of this film that felt like the reviewer was watching an entirely different film than the one described here, so given that I like the actors and director I’m willing to chance it.

I didn't like Frozen 1 much either. I far preferred Tangled.

And from far, far away in the distance I hear a faint sound of someone screaming in despair “I can STILL SEE!”

Yeah, I never liked Tweety and I never liked the Roadrunner. As a kid I always hoped Sylvester and the Coyote would eat them.

I'm looking forward to seeing DADHAT soon, it looks like a lot of fun.
