But if a street robber comes up behind you and pulls a gun you have no time to react.

I didn't find that treasure. I just gunned and gunned for like 8 minutes.
I can see the point of tasers or pepper spray (which experts seem to agree all young women should carry).
The ship overturning was the best part of the game for me thus far. The pacing once you entered the cruise liner was fantastic, with one exception i'll explain below.
If the mugger pulls a gun first that's useless. Even if you are an excellent marksman trained in the military, the time it takes to unholster and prepare a gun would be too long. You'd have your brain shot out with any flinch.
If you really want to split hairs then fine. Sony didn't know about the extent of the database breach until the 4th day,
Um valve discovered this Sunday and told us now that info was compromised. Sony waited 4 days to tell the world that info was compromised.
You are not. no no no no no. I mean techincally you are liable for $50 (see here [creditcardforum.com]) But that is always waived.
actually I'm not sure the rules behind debit cards. I'd personally be more afraid with debit because Credit card purchases are super easy to trace and verify as fraudulent. I'll check it out.
People with credit cards: You are probably fine. No need to over react. Even if they somehow raw CC numbers no one is liable for fraudulent purchases. Yeah it's a pain in the ass to submit claims and check your statements for fishy purchases. But jesus, you would assume the sky is falling by the comments.
I get what you are saying, but would have to at least change over time. Think Monet's million and one paintings of the Rouen Cathedral.
Make one where each camera movement by the player changes composition accordingly, not just on a sliding grid but according to the angles of the refraction of light?
I don't know how else to describe it, except for maybe the technical details without a broad name.
Agreed. Increased resolution would help here. And it certainly doesn't have the subtlety of a Cezanne. It's also not technically impressionist (see rant above).
Ok I appreciate the artwork in the game but one thing REALLY needs to made clear.
Making the enemy common economic malaise and the desperation it forces people into isn't more difficult than writing anything else. It's just that video game writing is usually so piss poor that we think it would fail in video games. It's not like movies haven't approached the topic a million and one times effectively.
It had a slow start though, and a lot of that million was budget priced.
Why on earth does Ubisoft release their artsy niche titles in holiday AAA crush time?
It would have to be software emulation if they switched architecture types, like how the original PS3 kept the emotion engine but then switched to software emulation. And software emulation of this gen would be a nightmare to do accurately. You need devices many many times more powerful than the original to do…
I'd say that they equaled top of the line PCs at their debut. It may take a while to show because they need to be optimized, but i'd say they this gen was as powerful as the top line PC's back in 05/06 (Taking into account optimization allowed by familiarity and being close to the metal)
