@Paul_Is_Drunk: meh. It's pretty standard legal procedure to try and get the case tried where they want. Don't hate Sony for it, defendants do it as well. It's our crudded up legal system that needs fixing.

The second analog stick would cover the 'innovative' part, even if it's so simple and already done before on consoles. It just changes everything about the input for the games.

Also games on consoles run closer to the metal (no real OS, not a lot that separates the game and the hardware), so the performance gains are greater than just the computational difference.

How could the Resistance series get ANY starker? It's got to be the most depressing series ever.

@Chip Skylark of Space: They can't include non combat deaths. The Spanish American war had many many more heat and disease fatalities than combat deaths. It really wasn't a 'splendid little war', as much as I admire TR.

YEES! I always thought Infamous side levels could be easily made with a simple toolset, but this even exceeds that with 'puzzle' missions, whatever that may end up as. This makes me happy.

I could actually see this working as a self-conscious satire chock full of cheesy lines, one dimensional characters, and over the top balls to the wall action. Sort of how I like to think of DMC3.

@Coreboy: Ugh its difficult enough in Toronto with its 20 KM + of underground tunnels with shops. There aren't even good directories for the shops, you kind of have to stumble into them.

But couldn't they use the planes to fight back? Like land them in the east, refuel, then attack back with a vengeance? Rebels don't have very many fighterjets...

THANK YOU. my god, it feels like the mid ninties that I have to adjust my URL to get to the page I want.

Mobile site isn't working either. damnit.

Kotaku's mobile site and CA and UK sites haven't been updating since yesterdays bulletstorm note. #tips (dunno where to report this, and I NEED my old kotaku. )

@Nitesh: Last minor and major refresh was a web store update, though both were just increases in power (Core i series and spec boost). Light peak could be different.

@blaaps: he loves them so much that he will take them three at a time!

It looks like they are using dualshocks too.

@KingDarian: No. Minesweeper is where it's at.

Actually I think the end of a console's lifespan is the best time to dive in. There are so many great games for the PSP that can be bought used or new for just a few dollars online (provided you don't get the Go). I say dive in for value.

I adored the Fancy Pants Adventures and the Mirrors edge 2d game (same guy). Can't wait.

@Joel Johnson: Not when Valve itself is now releasing everything they make on consoles.
