@crazytwin: You know, that's a pretty good point; where the hell is it? Sony managed to knock out a 1:1 motion controller at the last minute back in 2006/7, and a few minigames populated by blocky avatars can NOT take that long to make, especially when the engine only needs some rudimentary tweaking. And the longer it

@eamonbuckley: Any reason to use Home for me. The third party content is all I've been waiting for really, and it's finally starting to emerge. Be good to see how it all pans out.

I'm as much a 'games as art' nobbin as anyone, but Noby Noby Boy is a failure on every level. The engine is so poor it takes almost as long to load a tiny, textureless patch of land as it takes Fallout 3 to load its vast world, it doubles or even triples the controls on to the shoulder buttons while making no use of

"JILLIAN MICHAELS FITNESS ULTIMATUM 2009"? What now?

Why would the fact that it is a homebrew game stop Fox News from kicking up a stink?

All I will say is: this better make the PS3 or I'm going to sulk.

@VC03: Will it come with English dubbing/subtitles? If so I'll probably pick it up. I'm assuming the demo will be region free.

@Archmagnus: I hope so; much as I know I'd probably love WoW once I got stuck in, it's just so boring for too many of the opening hours that I can't bring myself to play it. A real-time, fast-paced MMO is what I'm looking for, but this is definitely showing a lack of polish ATM. Still, pre-alpha, etc.

I tried to get my cousins to play the old Sonic games, and they just couldn't have cared less. Great though Sonic was, times have moved on. At least Unleashed showed that they've finally got a grip on how to program well in 3D - on a technical level it's miles ahead of any of the other 3D games. The next 360 game will

There are no CLOTHED furrie either, or anything besides boring mundanity, and that's broadly why Home is shit. A virtual world is a perfect place for people to express who they are deep down in a non-realistic way, but Home flatly refuses to cater for that. Dull, dull dull.

So basically it's sidled into view a year too late, and now it won't even have a proper launch.

Not a single person I know has any idea the Gizmondo exists. The average consumer isn't going to buy into a device with no current commercial standing, and they aren't going to consider trying if they can't even pronounce the symbols on the face buttons. And with the iPhone providing a much more complete device with

@Mizerok: Funny you should say that; I was quite liking the trailer, and then a female voice came on saying in a sultry voice "it's a man's world - is it... baby?"

Can you explore the 360's hard drive on your PC? You definitely can't on PS3 (seriously, don't try it. I lost 60+ hours of Oblivion plugging it in and hitting the wrong button in Windows), but if you could then potentially you could just make your song, export the file to a website then download others to the correct

I can't believe his arms stretch and his shoes transform! What happened to the realistic games of old, where he fought robots shaped like crabs and could breathe in the depths of space?

Let's all remember: Miyamoto said it was more like a toy than a game, because 'toys are more fun than games'.

How are 3D Realms still in business? Honest answers here, what is their business model that apparently allows them to keep surviving without releasing anything?

'Registration temporarily disabled.'

@moe84: Telling people to stop complaining: last refuge of the fan who can't argue against what the haters are saying. People keep complaining about WoW because some, like me, find it impossible to even fathom the logic behind what supposedly makes it fun.

I've been playing Abe's Ossysee again, and while it's hideously infuriating at times, it's still a blindingly well made game with endless amounts of charm and atmosphere. Well worth the money.
