I like it, too. It's like Walking Dead with more comic relief and a bit more camp, in a fun way. It still had some pretty shocking moments (family of cannibals that slowly eat their victims piece by piece while they're still alive) that made it definitely a cut above.

The Gnostic gospels are amazing—I'm particularly fond of the Gospel of Thomas, which is full of Zen-koan-like aphorisms. Great stuff.

I don't think that'd be much of a battle tbh. Arrow wouldn't take a lot to better and Gotham has got terribad written all over it. Netflix Marvel might be good though!

Agreed. Films like Captain America are good, but they don't translate something like comics and their serial format characterization near as well as a regular tv show.

This wont happen, but I really *really* wish the start of every season had a time skip. two years, five years, whatever. I want them to throw away the idea of never having Batman show up, ever. So season 1 starts out with Jim Gordon as a novice detective. Season 2 hes been at this a few years and he knows some tricks.…
