I live in DC. It does not surprise me at all that they haven’t found anyone yet. The National Mall is massive, filled with countless monuments, and areas that are not covered by surveillance. Me and my college friends conducted many a drunken activity uninterrupted by patrols. The Park Service can barely afford the

I’m tired of hearing this argument. The truth isn’t boring. If it was boring, nobody would go out of their way to make the movie in the first place. Tupac led an exciting life with fascinating people surrounding him. You don’t have to run over the truth to accomplish a goal of adapting his life.

Why do biopics take liberties with the truth, especially when the people being portrayed are alive? I can understand dramatizing scenes where there isn’t a witness to tell you what actually happened, but when you have the person you’re portraying telling you what occurred and what didn’t, why risk bad publicity and

Five year olds typically have some form of supervisor/escort on busses. Where was that person? How did they not know where they were going? How did they not realize the school was closed? What about the bus driver?

That’s it? So were they worried about time?

Does anyone know what the administation’s speech said? Why were they trying so hard to control the message?

Interesting, I think this is the most important part of this story.

I thought it was funny...

(I thought the same thing)

Senior pranks are always dumb. Always. Anything even remotely noteworthy you can do will end up costing you. And if you go the route of my class’s “senior prank” (a random beach party in the quad), you just have the administration rolling its eyes and telling you to get back to class.

Actually, I’m pretty sure more people voted for Ivanka when they voted for Donald than its safe to admit. People really REALLY like her, and think she’s a “sobering” voice in the White House.

If “That Guy” means “The guy presenting facts that explain why this is so fucked up”, then by all means keep doing what you’re doing.

You’ve articulated exactly why the motion was denied.

I’m not a legal expert, but I could maybe see a case where the prosecution introduces an expert witness for the very purpose of making a specific point against the defendent, a point which that expert witness might not make under other circumstances. In other words, I could see the defense making the argument that the

My company doesn’t allow me to claim ANY alcohol on my expense report.

Well that’s my point. Requiring written consent is, in my mind, a great idea, but the language of a law would have to define what constitutes written consent. In other words, does a text that says “don’t share this” count? Can it be revoked? Who does the burden of proof lie with, the victim or the perpetrator?

There are plenty of immoral laws, and have been for generations. Slavery is a fine example. Tragically, laws and morals do not always align. The reason I said “regardless of the moral issue” is that when it comes to legal language, you’re going to run into issues. The fact that everything I said is “extremely vague”

I imagine an issue would arise as to the when: in other words, can a person revoke consent once given, and what effect does that have on images already shared. And how does this affect porn? Can a person who sells their image revoke the right to sell that image? And what counts as consent? Does a person who shares an

I’m sure she’s got money from elsewhere by just being who she is. And I’m also sure that Trump covers all of Tiffany’s expenses (college, living, etc) and therefore she gets to spend all her money on herself.
