Three out of the four films have been shot and are in post-production. Blade’s got a script and is in pre-production and should shoot later this year to give them close to a year on post-production.

While I agree with the idea of dropping the idea of a male actor playing the Trunchbull in the film version (I imagine it plays onstage as a more fun and theatrical choice that’d be lost in translation), it is a shame we missed out on the original casting for the film - Ralph Fiennes as the Trunchbull could have been…

If it helps the movie had *less* songs that I thought it would - figured it would go all out like the South Park movie (which is a brilliant musical) but instead there's only three real bits of the characters singing.
I think that's just the now-usual case of The AV Club not reading the source properly - elsewhere it's said the first season will cover a year and the second will cover four years, all leading up to Rogue One.
