That is a terrible reason to like a movie.

“I like it because it’s different and edgy” is not any better than “I hate it because it didn’t feel like Star Wars”. In between those opinions is a film that is very poorly written and has plot holes the size of the grand canyon.

So was I. It’s already been shot, so they can’t even substitute someone in his slot. I don’t like harassers being rewarded, but I also don’t like perfectly innocent contestants being penalized for the guy’s actions.

I know I should be more upset about the harassment (I’m pretty numb to this sorta news by now), but goddammit I was watching that...

Me and the missus love watching these bad Christmas rom-coms this time of year, but we can’t figure out why this one has been picking up any sort of following, other than possibly it being on Netflix as opposed to Lifetime or Hallmark Channel. I’m willing to bet that Netflix randomly chose this movie to make a snarky

Yeah, who wants to see a beloved entity be taken over by some corporate overlords? Why that’d be like this here AV Club being purchased by some large conglomerate and shifting its editorial viewpoint to accommodate their new corporate masters.

I liked this season a lot more than last season.

No doubt this was better than last year’s mess of a season finale. Canadian Mountee Ike, everyone puking over PC Principal and Strong Woman being in love, that whole gag with the “Fox” trap, it was all solid stuff. And goddamn, was it satisfying to see Heidi finally come to her senses and dump Cartman’s ass for

Exactly what is supposed to be so great about Gert? She’s been little but self absorbed & annoying from the beginning, the pre recorded politics notwithstanding. I guess people are reacting to the comic book version maybe?

I like Mantis a lot. She is so weird. My favorite Marvel character by far. I hate how she gets bashed for not being a bad ass.

holy shit, a protagonapath?

I’ve never watched the show but it sounds like she gained the power to warp reality and make the series about herself.

So, it seems I’m not alone. I don’t recognize this guy they wrote as the Frank Castle I read. I don’t recognize that world... none of it made any sense to me either.

I can’t help but feel that there were some massive missteps in this version of the Punisher. Having Frank be a willing participant in the torture / murder of an innocent goes against the character’s prior incarnations, and the weird handwaving away of it at the end made me feel icky. Micro having a family didn’t quite

The reviews have all been positive, and of the five comments that are currently on this one, over half of them are about the aspects of the episode/show we like. I don’t think it’s an unfair criticism to want the runaways to run away. It’s literally the title.

I was hoping there would be more Crisis On Earth-X and not as much Arrow, but there was still too much Arrow. You could feel the excitement of the first hour deflate as the camera angles and lighting grew more dull, and everybody lapsed into fake emotional drama. Bleh.

“It’s difficult to judge how successful this episode of Arrow is, because it’s neither an episode of Arrow nor a complete story”

The problem with having Frank stop being the Punisher at the start of Season 1 and then having him go through another origin story is that by the end of Season 1, Frank is basically back where he started at the end of Season 2 of Daredevil but now with less of a motivation to wage a one-man war on crime since the

Wait a second, the Punisher is suppose to be a Vietnam Vet damnit. I want to see a 70 year old man going on a superhero rampage!!!
