Veronica Mars had growing pains, too, mostly in the first few episodes. Also, Paris Hilton in a small part. ^^

Ah, but see, I'm not even that type of elitist. It's just that for the past two or three weeks, people have been selling me this event as the best wrestling show on tv, top to bottom. So when I tune in, I expect to be wowed.

Yeah, once again, I think the NXT fanbase (nobody in particular, and especially not Latoya, but just the general fanbase), like the ROH fanbase used to, does more harm than good overhyping the brand. Cos as a NXT semi-n00b - I don't follow the weekly show, just special events every now and then-, I, once again, came

"the plots have a larger impact on the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe"

Not really. Season 2 started at roughly 6M viewers, on par with the end tail of season 1 ; it bottomed out at 3.8M in March, and since then, it's more or less stable at 4/4.4M, most likely thanks to Ultron buzz.

According to TVLine, the spin-off is dead and buried.

Phase 3 looks to be when Marvel Studios really starts exploring new ground, and Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is
leading the way into this new age of the MCU. Season two is when the
show stopped being auxiliary and started playing an integral role in the
evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, primarily by serving as the

“The Dirty Half Dozen” is fully aware that it is leading into Age Of Ultron, and considering the major changes that came after Winter Soldier,
I’m excited to see how this series adjusts to whatever new developments
are in store for the larger MCU. What new storytelling avenues will be

That's just as well, since the finished 2h20 product is pretty chopped up and kind of a structural mess. Watching it, you can clearly tell where Whedon cut out entire subplots (the Thor side-story, Ultron's first upgrade) in order to get under the first Avengers' running time.

Right now, it seems WWE is trying to outdo TNA's Reign of Magnus in the "weakest great-prospect-turned-helpless-paper-champion" category.

Oh, there's a filler PPV on Sunday ? ….. Okay.

I like Palicki, I like her character, but… honestly, everything re : Mockingbird/english guy, their forced banter, and the fact that the writers expected me to care for those new guys when I couldn't even bother to care for most of the regular cast members… well, that was a big part of why I gave up on the show

Eh, worked for Dexter.

Nope, just nope. I liked Wilmore in TDS, but the Nightly Show is such a mess, not only format-wise, but production-wise (there's just no rhythm or transitions, no energy, only awkward moments when the jokes are expected to land, but don't, and Larry just changes topics with a chuckle) and host-wise.

I honestly and sincerely miss NXT 3. Yes, the way WWE just decided to stop giving a fuck about anything "because they're girls" was awful… but at the same time, it was the most hilarious season of WWE programming ever, thanks to that DILLIGAF attitude.

Yeah, that Divas match was fine and all, but still… I wish Nikki would have learned her craft from someone else than John Cena, cos the finisher kickout kinda annoyed me… (and tbh, Nikki's finisher, aka Abyss' transitional mid-match backcracker, doesn't really work for me either).

Thing is, it's a necessary step before bearded, badass MMA fighter Brock Lesnar.

Not sure the weekly NXT shows warrant a detailed review, really. There's not that much to talk about in a one hour show, once you take the matches out. As a monthly NXT recap, a NXT specials recap, or a brief weekly recap at the end of the Raw review, though, it could work.

Yeah, that's called "semi-mediocre writers propping up the unpopular "one true love" by making the competition look awful". AKA what happens to every show where the fans end up not liking the chosen one as much as the writers do.

It was a fun final 7-min stretch. Granted, it was very Superman 78, and I've seen too many Smallville episodes w/ apparent ground-shaking final revelations to expect anything but a total reset button by the end of next week's, but still, it was fun.
