Just wait until Trips taps out to the worst scorpion death lock/sharpshooter ever.

Between these reviews & The Mark Remark recaps, I don't have to watch Raw anymore, hurray !

As in, one of the main writers for Dexter before it got crappy.

How come Agent Carter managed to be so stylized & convincing visually, but, judging from the first ep, this adaptation of a highly stylized comic book seems to be striving for blandness, "realism" & the most generic look possible ?

She was (once again, for what must be the third or fourth time on screen) one of Cinderella's evil step-sisters.

Well, it got more focused, it seemed to have a drive, some forward momentum, and there's also that simple "force of habit" : once you've been following a show for a season & a half, you're bound to get attached to at least one character or two, and you tend to become more lenient & indulgent w/ the show as long as

Hmm… I think this will be my last AoS ep for a while. Not that it was particularly bad, but I realized, while watching the show, that I just didn't care for it anymore, and that I was barely paying attention to what was happening.

I hope these will go longer than just a month, cos it's really refreshing to read a wrestling review that is non-partisan, and doesn't try to pit one fed's fans vs another's by inserting gratuitous shots here and there.

does anyone know where her oddly “feminist” segue to Seth—asking if he didn’t support her because she’s a girl—came from?

No more Ferguson. No more Colbert. No more Stewart. End Times. They are upon us.

And while we're at it, I know it was a kid's show/sitcom, but Nickelodeon's Supah Ninjas (also w/ Randall Park) was also about an Asian-American family. With an holographic George Takei to boot.

Actually, they showed one of them a couple of days before the finale, when the show came back from an ad break : Craig was talking with one of the two guys inside the costume, and he deliberately slowly hushed him into the barn when the camera focused on them.

IIRC, the Craig/Letterman relationship has cooled down quite a bit these past few years. From their own admission, both men have never been more than work accointances, and they've never been friends, but for the past few years or so (around the time Letterman started renegociating his contract one last time), they've

Youtube "Craig Ferguson" and the date, the show is there. ;)

Yeah, the show really struggles in keeping coherent the extant of Flash's powers, and the way they're displayed on screen.

He does some of the same shtick as in the Late Show but it's probably an
easy side gig for him until another proper chat show comes along, if it
hasn't happened already.

Well, the badass haircut is a trope in and of itself, so it makes sense that Miss Mary-Sue McTrope would get one inbetween seasons.

I guess it would work if there was only one double agent security officer somewhat supervising the really bad double agent scientist & the rest of the organisation.

Nah. Lowered standards for comic book shows are THE WORST.

Not too impressed by this episode. It all felt so heavy-handed & obvious, on every level : Skye's attitude, Coulson's no-negociation policy, the fact that Bobby Morse was Shield & Hunter's ex-wife, some directing & scoring choices, Mockingbird's fighting, MacLachlan's acting, Simmons' awful lying & spying, her fawning
