But she is quoted as calling out her specific employer:

“The CW and WB, that was their way of handling it. We know better now. It’s not okay to treat your talent that way, to let them go through abuse and harassment. But for me in 2014, there were no support systems.”

I 100% believe all of that happened to Ms. Patton, and it sucks. Genuinely curious what ‘protection’ looks like, though?

Just correct the person without that irritating ‘um’

My understanding is that Musk signed a contract to buy Twitter “as-is” before he started questioning the financials. Now it’s not a question of whether Musk will lose money but instead how much.

I assumed it was doomed when the con man who’s desperate for attention announced he was buying Twitter on a whim.

um, not toronto, but vancouver.

I don’t doubt it has happened but I always thought Emily Bett Rickards took the worst of the online abuse of the Arrowverse stars. So many dumb people out there who don’t understand that actors aren’t responsible for plot decisions or dialogue.

I remember people expressing their displeasure at both her acting and her scripts, but I don’t remember a race thing.

Yeah, I wish this piece gave any indication of what kind of “protection” Patton wanted. Did she want a therapist, possibly on-set, as part of her compensation package? Did she want anti-racist PSAs, or in-universe content to that effect? Or is this all about social media, and the CW being too cheap to hire some

And all that *after* he made sure that the contract did not include due diligence. Presumably he didn’t want them digging into his affairs and finances without realizing it cuts both ways.

I meant affairs in the general sense not the sexual - but perhaps that too.

takes a true “business genius” to suss out –well after agreeing to to the multi-billion dollar dealthat twitter *might* have a bot / fake account problem. very good at business.

I was always more disturbed by Barry and Iris being step-siblings on the show.

I love that every year or two there’s a new variation of the “why aren’t Millennials buying diamonds?!?” scare headline.

Yeah, the pandemic greatly leveled up my cooking and cocktail games.

Or I could just make food at home for 1/4 of the cost.

Gen Z is stupid, lazy and I pity any business that has to hire them to survive and make money. Let them TikTok!

ALDI has garnered global attention this week...

1st half of article: My barista swears he doesn’t use TikTok. “That’s, like, the social media thing, right?... I just thought it sounded refreshing,”

I haven’t seen a Quizno’s in almost a decade.

What the fuck.
