He quit doing his show because he thought people were laughing at him, not with him. So now he spends his time laughing at a marginalized and very small group of people who’ve done him no harm. He’s gone from being funny-ha ha to funny-peculiar.

I got a lot of downvotes on Reddit for stating that Chappelle’s argument was the equivalent of white people saying shitty things about black people and then letting themselves off the hook because they have a ‘black friend’. I’m guessing that’s mainly because 99.9% of the people on Reddit are stupid children. Or…
Chappelle's last special was so weird. The dude devoted more than half of his hour-long comedy special to making half-baked jabs at transgender people and decided to hide behind "I had a trans friend and she said it was okay!"
I agree with him about Chappelle. Its one thing to make one off jokes on stuff like that, comedy can get boring if its too safe. Edgy is good. But Chappelle seems fixated on the topic now. Move on, dude.
Good lord, people are insane.
Is this not is this dress not notable because it’s the dress she wore to sing happy birthday to him? Sounds like you’re emotionally invested in the dress so you must know the answer.
I guess it should have gone to the Smithsonian then, and not Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
It’s still not gonna make me care about “the integrity” of a dress that the president’s movie star mistress sang happy birthday to him in 60 years ago, but sure.
I can’t stand the Kardashians but I also do not give a shit about this fucking dress.
She made a sitcom about local government where the overall message was basically “be nice to people and don’t be an asshole” and that’s the same as representing a whole political ethos, didn’t you realize?
Again, what the fuck are people talking about?
Uhh...what?
Going to need you to show your work on that one.
What exactly did Amy do?
Does he?
You'd think an author would realize that the word "racism" doesn't mean just any form of prejudice and would then find an appropriate term such as "ageism" with little effort, discovering in the process that his demographic cohort actually suffers it among the least of all groups. You'd be wrong though.
Wow, I somehow overlooked that Chappelle is going to be there...
I absolutely do not believe in the exact thing that I said yesterday! You can’t hold me accountable for the things I say, it’s not that I make a living with formulating ideas.
I absolutely do not believe that racism is practiced against white writers.
With your mouth? Gross. Just squeeze as much as you can out with your hands, then call it good, like a normal person.
