Not disputing the whole “defensive asshole primadonna” thing nor the likelihood that, well, this whole thing is probably a massive sleazy pile of shit, but she’s pretty clearly talking about the people weighing in online who obviously haven’t seen it yet with that one.
Lady, they’re puttin’ my kids through college!
Yeah, I’ll believe that’s actually for-real happening and not just some kind of Hollywood “we’re really excited about these new script-writers” bullshit ‘happening’ when I’m actually watching it. And even then I’ll probably just assume someone’s doped the water supply with psychotropic drugs or something.
Good point, though to do that you’d have to get over the whole “everyone thinks Connor’s a complete joke” thing. Even Connor somewhat acknowledges that no one really takes him seriously, so it’s hard to think that anyone would get over that enough for this to be a strategy anyone would actually suggest.
Though he did die partway through the negotiations, to be completely fair.
Like anything with the Roys and, well, being actual human beings, you have to grade them on a curve. But by their low standards, actually taking his wife’s wishes seriously and respecting them and deciding to actively stick it to the GOP candidate is, well, kind of human.

I don’t know about ‘dangerous’, but given the rather fraught history of Egyptians being denied ownership and control of their own history (in many cases literally), I’m not wholly surprised that the idea of western outsiders once again taking a rather cavalier approach to their history for their own purposes in a…
BREAKING NEWS: Movies About Completely Different Things Are Completely Different
They both look like they’re posing for a really awkward and uncomfortable police line-up. Get Eugene Levy in there somewhere, we could have the nerdiest and most socially inept remake of The Usual Suspects on our hands.
I mean, they could have chosen not to set their climax at a circus to begin with...
Sure, but... there’s ways to do that without dressing your lead up as an actual clown.
I feel like people are maybe overstating just how much of a lock Shiv’s got on things; sure, she did well this episode, but it seems like every episode this season has ended with at least one of the kids in a position where victory is almost visibly within their grasp, only for something to come along in the very next…
Guy is in his 80s. This is kind of a ‘no shit Sherlock’ thing.
