Back in the summer of 2021 the local Ford dealer and I were 2.5k apart from me walking out with a Mustang Mach E.  I walked and bought a Volvo XC40 Recharge.

It’s truly been blowing my mind watching people work so hard to go to bat for a game they’d unflinchingly give a 5/10 to if it were published by Ubisoft or EA without the franchis tie-in. This whole thing is being held up by nostalgia, bigotry, and childish contrarianism-for-the-sake-of-it. 

My statement was not that it was bad, but that it was standard. You’re not wrong that using formulas can still result in positive outcomes, but this doesn’t sound like a game interested in using the elements of a formula to form a greater whole. It sounds like one that is applying a license to a template wholesale.
