In PA, ambulances are supposed to stop and proceed with caution.  Fire trucks and police can (at their discretion) proceed right on through.

Good early-phase trial design is what answers these sorts of questions.

Agreed. As an engineer, it’s *usually* in my blood to let the salesman know that I’m going to be using their product in an off-label fashion, and that IDGaF about the warranty, but I just want to see if this idea works or not.
