Hipster girls love pirates. And outdoor activities.

I was going to make the same joke! Well done.

I feel like beards on young(ish) guys in movies/TV are usually used to communicate carelessness, which might be the case here but I don't care. Beard = Hotness!

It's never not racist, no matter where you are, no matter who you are. SorryNotSorry, Brad Paisley.

Co-sign.

I think that if it is debilitating enough that you would call in sick to work, it's worth making an appointment with your doctor. Maybe it would become less painful over time as your body adjusts, but it sounds like it's getting worse.

Ooof, what a couple of jerks.

Oh my gosh, I was coming here to ask the SAME question! Well, same topic. I got mine about month ago and pretty much started my period right after. It was a little heavier and a couple days longer, but that might have been residual from the OrthoEvra patch.

Emma married the guy who played Willoughby in "Sense and Sensibility" so I think she came out on top in this breakup.

I like your suggestion of a pause system, but I could see a situation in which Kickstarter might pause a project to review its legitimacy as a way to delay funding.

A project that I'm supported was funded today, just barely. I am so excited for the musicians because now they can record an album, but I am heartbroken that the same system allowed this guy to rake in a ridiculous amount of money to teach other men how to disrespect and violate women. It's not as easy as saying I'm

I *might* be okay with people who say, "Girls, don't drink too much because you might get raped," if they quickly added," And boys, don't drink too much because you might rape someone."

That's heartbreaking. You are a very good person for thinking about other people's feelings (UK travelers) at such a difficult time and I'm glad you had supportive, kind people around you.

Why is that? I will concede that you should inquire about someone's dietary restrictions before giving a food gift, but why is a food basket inappropriate?

To be fair, if you think a wedding is about making money for your future, the likelihood of your marriage being a sham is pretty high.

Have you seen the movie Pleasantville? Tobey Maguire's character idolizes a 1950s TV show, he gets transported into the show, and eventually realizes how f'ed up the whole thing is. I wish that would happen to all these buttheads who longer for a simpler time, when women wore dresses and black people couldn't vote.

Agreed! I feel like saying you don't have/watch TV is very 90s. I remember a lot of "Kill Your TV" graffiti back then that HORRIFIED me as a child. Why would you want to kill a TV?! That's where Mr. Rodgers and the Peanuts and Clarissa live!

True dat.

Okay, so you meant "while he does...nothing" as in he does nothing to help with the child raising/housework. I agree that it's completely unfair if she has work/school/childcare/housework on her plate and he just has work/(possibly) school, but I was under the impression that he wasn't doing anything to contribute.

He has no job at all? And isn't going to school?
