Brilliant.
Brilliant.
I wish I could remember crap like this so I could go all Stephen Fry on people too.
Really enjoyed that, making it a person was a great idea.
Some powers are just better for evildoing. Mind control, for instance.
Arthur hated waiting rooms. Naturally, he came to this realization whilst seated in one. It isn't usually the kind of thing considered worthy of hatred, a waiting room. After all, it's an in-between place, a nothing. People talk about hating the doctor's and things like that, but waiting rooms? They're like bus stops…
See, the thing with rapid healing is that it's cooler than being invincible, but it's far less practical - you still feel pain and get injured in the first place.
I absolutely LOVE that he opted for something that wasn't obvious. People always, always say flight or invisibility when asked this question, and as cool as they would be, it just lacks imagination. But Obama's all "omnilingualism, like Cypher from New Mutants".
I like the original Coma. This remake seems, like so many others, completely redundant.
There is no uniformity to the art in that series at all.
This seems like a pretty randomly assembled list. I mean, in terms of coolness. The way it's defined, I don't see why these guys are cooler than Batman. I mean, all the justifications are "this character is tough and kicks ass!" and Batman does that better than anyone. Some of them even seem more troubled than he is.…
You know, I didn't even give it a good look until you mentioned it. It *is* genius!
Wait for Iron Man 3.
I'm grateful it isn't a TV series. It's setting a precedent for quality webseries and is available internationally, on demand, through one service. It's what regular television should be moving towards, but until then I hope we get a few more shows in this style.
Brilliant.
Same. It's the one I read and thought 'that's not even weird...'
Yeah, I'd rather wait or them to have their X-Men rights back before going anywhere near Scarlet Witch, and even then, she has a very hazy power set and isn't capable of holding down her own movie, I don't think.
That would be ace, you had me at Men in Black-style.
I sincerely hope his plans for that movie come to light.
I don't know where people get the idea that characters need to be well known in order to succeed or that the general public dislikes space opera.
