I stopped Freak Show half-way through. I can’t even care enough to go back but I am REALLY hoping that hotel will bring back the magic.

I am a BIG fan of transparent salaries. Several of the “big law” firms in town do it. They have base salary and bonus listed for everyone but they also put in billable hours, pro bono hours, etc. It’s great.

When my parents were divorced (they re-married one another), we lived with my father. He figured it out. Maybe we didn’t have gourmet meals every night but we weren’t eating those when they were married either. We were happy kids in a loving home.

I don’t quite understand why the University told the sorority to take down the video. My only guess is the amount of skin in the video was “unbecoming”. Otherwise, I was just like “meh. white girls gonna white.” [full disclosure: i’m white.]

LOVE Vegas. My grandparents retired to Vegas in the late ‘70s so I’ve spent my entire life visiting. It was awesome a small child because of the lights and the arcades, then hellishly boring as a teen, and awesome again as someone of legal drinking age.

So I am curious why the U of M released these docs? The man already resigned so I’m not sure to what end the disclosure was meant to do. [And I am not standing up for his behavior or the messages, just genuinely curious why these were released publicly.]

I generally love Madeleine but SHE. IS. WRONG. about this single. It’s great. It’s what I wanted from Happily, Fireproof, and Night Changes.

I did not care for Nick during Andi’s season but he really repaired his image in this season. I think that was his ultimate motivation - to come back and prove he wasn’t what they made him out to be on the show.
