I work in a steel building which sits in a more-or-less dead zone for my provider, so if I want data, I have to put my phone in a vise, in a specific location (plugged in), then set up a wifi connection to a portable router, and then access that with my pad and/or laptop. I know someone whose SSN was compromised and their identity stolen while they were still a child. The local and Federal governments were aware of this, and yet, some twelve years later, this person is still trying to get their identity back and records cleared so they can attend college.
