Let us keep in mind that Newton, Einstein, Hawking, et al; geniuses, if you will, are not without fault. Hell, Isaac Newton was himself an alchemist.

The problem is... no one tells the prospecctive hire about the really bad stuff. If their only moderating experience is for an internet forum or two, then they are used to spammers and the occasional troll; meaning they'll be in for a bunch of big surprises.

That is a good question. I would work under the assumption that the same holds true, unless you were to find different. I run primarily in Linux, and don't have this kind of problem.

Given the time, patience and money, I'd likely rehab my old MS ergonomic keyboard with some decent switches... but then, I don't use a deadly computer anymore, so it would be wasted effort.
