Ah! I need to hurry up and get through Stormblood and Shadowbringer so I can play this, preferably before it’s no longer popular.

This review makes me so happy! I love the freedom that Obsidian RPGs allow and I’m glad that it’s carried over into this game.
I agree 100%. I really don’t understand how people see the police as coming across as “good” in the first episode. They felt really grimey to me for the reasons you mentioned, along with that briefing in that stark brutalist conference hall. And what kind of police chief lives in a mansion like that?
Now I must buy Disco Elysium.
Oh my. Corporate double speak is great.
The loot stuff is also super annoying when you play with a friend that insists on stopping for every chest in the world, when any random bad guy can drop the same-if not better-stuff.
I’m pretty sure you’re right. I think some hands-on previews sort of confirmed this.
Maybe for Ghost Recon, but I don’t agree for Assassins Creed. I loved everything about Odyssey, especially the steady feed of abilities and skills and the fact that I could tailor Kassandra to how I wanted her to play. I do really miss the social stealth elements through, like hiding in plain sight, and the very low…
Were, not we’re. Maybe they were using autocorrect too, lol.
Lol, no I didn’t!
I’m kind of enjoying it so far but, my god, the subtitles are so distracting. Typos, misspellings (Sarn’t for Sergeant?), and differences between the written script and spoken dialogue. We’re the subtitles an afterthought?
Thanks for the corrections. I had the wrong wronged party. :)
I think the person who did claptrap is their former lawyer who’s currently suing them.
I’m sold. I would have been using the Switch in handheld more often but those joycons are so small that my hands crap after about 10-15 minutes.
I beat the game on the One X. I rarely saw framerate issue during combat. Really, the only consistent issue was a consistent drop of a few seconds when backing out of the menu. In my opinion it’s 100% playable.
I’m so glad to hear that!
Nice!
Yeah. Switching to scholar for dungeon queues works really well.
Archanist is a great class, especially since you’ve got a high level whm. Once you hit 30 you can switch between summoner and scholar after unlocking those jobs and they all level up together since archanist is the base for both. You get the best of both worlds; healing or dps depending on your mood.
