Elias was tough. The dungeons itself isn’t too bad, though the cannibals with the frost attacks suck.

I’ve seen him several times since I’ve hit WT3. At least 5 but maybe more. And I’ve just reached 70. Very tough fights but my rogue can run circles around him so I eventuslly chip away at him enough to kill him.
Yeah. There's no kingdom management or anything like that in BG3. Not sure where they're getting that from.
Not sure if this counts, but boss fights seem to have checkpoints. I died during one particularly long fight and was delighted to not only see my health potions refilled but the boss was at 3/4 health.
Oh yeah. It's a lot better in this one.
Overblown, like bombastic which is used in the article, means overly inflated, pretentious, etc...
The action is overblown?
I never read the manga so I was going in fresh. Arnheid’s story was is just so sad. I imagine the quality is same or better in the manga, but it was beautifully written and executed on the show. My only knock on it would be that the typical short anime episode length unfortunately broke up some scenes between episodes…
Anyone who dropped this show missed one of the best seasons of anime this year.
I’m sure a lot of it was procedurally generated too. They already had a system that could generate basic quests way back in Skyrim. It’ll be interesting to see how much it may have improved since.
Sorry. Didn’t know that you bought it. I guess that means it wasn’t a horribly marketed commercial flop when it first released?
Yeah, but no one knew what Alan Wake was back then. Since then it's become a cult hit and Remedy is also coming off of Control's success too. It'll do fine if not great.
Damn. I was hoping I was wrong. :)
Are you talking PC or console? Because I’m looking at it right now on my Series X and there’s no option to toggle HDR. Checked at the title screen and while in the game. Just Font Scale, Brightness, Safe Zone and Color Blind Filter, and there’s no option in the brightness menu either.
They need a HDR on and off toggle because it looks ugly with it on.
Ah, my bad. Misread your comment. Yeah, I know what you’re talking about.
I may be wrong but I think each dispenser provides a set type of item. When you view them on the map they show which items you cns get from them.
I love the rocket shield too. Good way to get some air.
The time bombs are nice though when you don’t have bomb flowers. They also seem to one hit kill the cannons on the Sky Temple even without exploding.
Thats like asking, "What stories can possibly come from being around other people."
