Same here, though I’m still in Heavensward right now. There are moments when the game dragged and almost lost my attention (Company of Heroes...argh!) but so far it’s been one of my favorite Final Fantasy games, and that’s saying a lot because I’m not normally a fan of MMOs.

I’m making my way through the older content, bouncing between summoner and red mage (since hitting 50). I’m currently in Heavensward and I’m absolutely obsessed with this game; the story and the combat systems.

Here is another way to describe it: the worst filler episode of your favorite anime series.”

I was going to ask the same exact thing. Could this be a very clever (and cynical) take on the pragmatism of politics and diplomacy vs the messy reality that enacting really change will result in alienation and conflict? Or by asking that are we giving the game more credit than it deserves?

Super weird and not really the way to put their best foot forward on the reviews. Pre-release codes that will be played on varied hardware setups? What were they thinking?

Yeah, it may very well be differences in hardware setups that cause some to have technical issues.

Yeah, exactly!

Yeah, the Alan Wake references start small but get pretty overt as you go. There’s more than one document about Bright Falls. One has a pretty big reveal about Alice Wake.

I only got to play a little bit last night (just got the gun), but what little I got to play I loved. When I had finally realized that the hallway I waked through had effortlessly twisted back to the main lobby with me just barely, noticing I knew this game was for me. :)

Character creator aside, I just couldn’t get into this.

Same here. I always liked the idea of the game but never could bring myself to put in any meaningful time in to it.

Can your primate find mushrooms on the ground that help it evolve faster? :)

There is free movement in game for move. You turn it on in the options menu. The left move’s...eh...move button(?) moves you forward. You can strafe or move backwards by pointing the left move in the direction you want to go. Right x and o (I think) turns you.

I love it other than the flight controls with the move controllers. Thankfully the game lets you swap out on the fly the moves for the ds4 and vice versa with no hassle.

Yeah, I’ve been looking into how to beat set up my hotbars, but it seems until I get all the skills most of the info isn’t that helpful.

No. I haven’t messed with macros. I’ll have to take a look though. Thanks!

I’ve been doing dungeon runs in between my main quests. I’ve hit level 42 with my scholar/summoner and I’m only at the level 33 quests.

I know, right? I did that manor dungeon earlier and almost wiped once because I was fumbling with the controls and healing myself during a one fight. I think I need to switch to mouse and keyboard.

Now I know!

I actually just fought Titan for the first time last night. I wish someone would have given me a heads up that he could knock me off the platform (though I could have Googled the fight beforehand I guess).
