I mentioned it above, but I'm sure they get married—we saw a flashback to the reception, where Ted and the Mother lock eyes while the band is playing, and the reception doesn't usually happen if the wedding is called off, to the best of my knowledge.

I always got the feeling that money was never really a problem for anyone on this show other than Penny. Aside from the issue with Howard buying a 3-D printer, I don't remember it ever coming up.

I don't like it either. My guess is that they realized this is becoming an ensemble comedy rather than just a "George & Tessa" sitcom, so they wanted to include the ensemble but couldn't get them all together on the same day, because Cheryl was getting her nails done that day, and Parnell had paintball… really, it

"And that, kids, was how ElDan met your mother."

"Bernadette manipulates Howard so he won’t want to go back to space."

I watched this episode the same day I watched a rerun of Parks and Recreation where Leslie is tasked by the mayor's office to rid the golf course of a possum. It was a weird coincidence.

It really is. I don't know who the woman is in the middle of the top row, but she may be the least funny comedian I've ever seen, male OR female. (And yes I'm including [name of person you find unfunny] in that list.)

They still show old Match Game episodes.

I think you mean the whole Chuhaha.

Wasn't Stephen King actually a record-holder at one time on the show? Or Jerry Orbach? I remember them both doing really good, at any rate.

I'd still watch this show any day before subjecting myself to the garbage that is "Next Food Network Star" again.

You've definitely seen more of the show than I have, but I've seen a fair amount, and I don't remember one single finale in which the contestant's kitchen etiquette came into play. Tom is a chef himself, he likely knows that chefs are notoriously grade-A assholes in the kitchen. But you said you know what they value,

If I remember right, and being that I'm too lazy to look it up, the pilot had a female defense attorney who was never seen again, and was replaced by Paula Kelly for the first season.

…or did they Britta it? I always get those two confused.

I thought Max the second I saw his name in the credits. For a second I had him mixed up with Scott Patterson… now HIM I'd love to see as a slimy lawyer-type! (Also, I second the question: what exactly did Max do that was so bad? He was near-perfect as I recall)

I've been calling it the "Murder She Wrote Rule" for years—that the most well-known guest star is always the culprit (Corollary: unless said guest star is made to look guilty very early on, then he/she is being framed)

Scott Cohen—I know him best as Lorelai's ex-fiancé Max Medina on "Gilmore Girls."

MACLEOD!

The Coach Kelly sketch was just on the "Sports Spectacular" special a few days ago, so watching them almost back-to-back I can reassure you that it was definitely the same character. I kept waiting for the Congresswoman to throw a toaster at someone, since that was my favorite part of that sketch.

Me too. I expected Sheldon to suddenly shake his head and be brought out of his daydream with Jones saying, "I SAID, you like Star Wars, right?"
