Horsepower per liter is a fools metric.

They told the cops "now slowly follow that white bronco." I'm sure they gave the 'really?' face

True, but since both EPA estimates were theoretically achieved under the same conditions it makes for a good basis of comparison.

Was that a Jimny Cricket joke?

"What is that?"

It's easier to roll/fold a tonneu cover than to take off a cap.

....sometimes you like to carry things that you don't want exposed to the elements. And sometimes you don't....

I really, really shouldn't like this, but goddamn, that's awesome and I want one.

that sounds more like it. however if a small yield nuclear device were to go off right under neath the cummins diesel at the conclusion of this video, i would also be under the impression that nothing of value was lost.

Love how they speed up the footage 13 seconds in to make that approach angle shot more impressive. Also you have to laugh at the "KILLER ARTICULATION!" bit as there's one tire off the ground due to a lack of actual articulation. The hyperbole in this ad campaign is laughable. I hate these ads mostly though because

No, but it is a surprise that the Chevy in the video was able to ;)

Wow, that escalated from "more or less harmless country fun" to "fucking menace to society" in no time.

Maybe, but the semi still has 5~6k over those tires. Just the tires and wheels themselves weight in the 1200-1600lb range. The Chevy is at a (slight) disadvantage due to the angle of the pull strap. So while I wouldn't say rule out the possibility that the Chevy could win I wouldn't have called it by any means.

I was prepared to be really pissed off about these spoof ads as I watched SNL.

Now playing

This looks like a successful launch. Unlike the launch of this NOAA research vessel. There is a reason why they use metal and not 2x4's.

A guy who used to park next to me in the garage also somehow managed to add quad pipes and authentic wheels to go along with the fake badge. The main clue it was a fake (aside from the I6 engine noise) was the extremely puny looking brakes.

Whoa whoa whoa... debadging improves the look of pretty much everything from cars to shirts to refrigerators. LET THE DEBATE BEGIN.

He probably comments on YouTube videos.

Or you could be badasses and kill the engine while coasting down hill. Incredibly dangerous, but with electric steering it should be easier.

(snort) chuckle....
