Can confirm. I’m an engineer in the automotive industry and I can promise that the quality inspections for items that deal with reliability and, even more importantly, safety are much more carefully scrutinized than appearance items.  They’re still not perfect, but the number of issues are significantly fewer (or else

I think this is the key point here:

I’m actually quite surprised at the strength of the box.  I figured it would be all wadded up after the trick lifted tires.

Good point. dragonfli-labs posted the proper explanation above:

Field operations is probably a detective or non-arresting officer’s vehicle, if I had to guess.

And some without eyes who drive Teslas.

I remember seeing this for the first time, too. I also LOVED the fact that the amber shone through the otherwise red plastic housing. I’m not a fan of amber plastic, but I do love amber illumination.  So neat!

That’s fair, but did you have another vehicle when the Triumph was being prepped for that (assuming you didn’t buy it as it currently sits). I’d consider that ‘stock,’ or I should probably have kept it worded as “Not/No Longer a Project Car.”

Your head or the tire iron’s?

Pair it with a forced air space heater (not a radiant heat), and you’ll get double the warmth.

Also, lay on a rubber/cardboard/fabric mat or something so that there is an insulating layer between your body and the cold concrete.  Makes a HUGE difference.

And that extra car should NOT be a project car. Stock, maintained, and did I mention stock?

You missed one of the most unique options from the EuroSpec Blazer.  Split tailgate like a Landrover.

Another good point.  A hybrid most likely does have a different transmission.

I’d hope that all trim levels listed in the tables above were similar configurations. But I also understand that not all configurations are offered for all trim levels and powertrains.

So you can understand the pain I feel every time I look at myself naked :P

So, since the Hybrid has a 1130lb lower payload capacity, does that mean that it weighs 1130lb more than the non-hybrid version? Man, those batteries are heavy!

Both?
