A la:

No lol.  Someone who stuffs their crotch is almost certainly all-talk and doesn’t have much to back it up.

I have a small penis and I don’t like the design at all.

Can I throw my hat into the ring? Almost all of my content is based on the build of my 2001 Silverado with all SORTS of custom stuff done to it to make it more capable offroad (40" tires, 1 ton axles, doubler transfer case setup, interior cage, shortened wheelbase, etc.). It may not look extreme at face value, but

I think you’re more of an exception than the rule on low budget spending, but damn - that’s impressive regardless.

Out of curiosity, how much did your gear cost? A lot of expensive camping gear can become VERY light, but some of the cheaper or more luxurious gear does get larger/heavier/both.

That’s incorrect. It still has pretty good traction when damp.  The traction in the dry is incredible.

It’s called slick rock because horsehoes and wagon wheels slid all over it back in the day.

I have a test for you. What shape is the earth? :P

I don’t think there’s a company in the world who’s making a solid front axle setup without matching angle and length pan-hard bar/drag link setups. Shouldn’t be any bump steer on modern solid axle setups unless geometries are thrown off by aftermarket junk.

You’re totally right that longer and flatter is better though.

The double cardan itself will output a constant velocity at any angle. However, MOST double cardan driveshafts only have a single cardan joint at the axle pinion yoke. If you have axle wrap issues OR poor alignment to the driveshaft, it won’t actually provide a constant velocity into the differential. You’d need

I think leaf springs have some inherent anti-roll/sway properties from the get-go, don’t they (solely because of the friction in between the leaves)?  Still, companies put anti-roll bars on leaf sprung solid axles to this day so maybe it’s not enough by itself.

Either way, I’m guessing the choice to go to coil springs

That’s fair. Once we pay off our student loans we won’t be following his baby steps plan as closely - so I definitely agree with you.

Any PC players have a discord for multiplayer games with other Jalops?

I have it through EGS and frankly, it’s not a deal breaker.  EGS sucks a big one, but it really doesn’t affect the performance of Snowrunner significantly in my experience.

While I don’t agree with all of Ramsey’s points... the main idea is that someone who’s coming from crippling debt probably doesn’t have the self control or maybe even knowledge to do something like you described. We are following the debt snowball method and it’s entirely a psychological journey. I went back and forth

I wonder if aftermarket brakes could achieve the same stopping performance at a lower all-in cost than the ZL1, though?

It’s pretty decent, in my experience.  I think because it’s so light. Many options for upgrades on it, as well.

They did.

On PC the mirrors are functional and across all platforms the interiors are amazing. I don’t know much about the other trucks, but the GMT400 Chevy’s interior is damn near perfect, even down to the HVAC and radio buttons.

The ONLY gripe about the interiors I have is that the hands on the steering wheel are super busy,
