And she doesn’t realize the long term damage to her economy that opening up too soon would do. Who will want to do any business or go on vacation in Vegas if it’s a COVID hotspot after other cities/states have it under control?

How can $15/mo be steep when that’s what ppl are already paying for just HBO Now alone?  This is like an order of magnitude increase in content (a lot of it legitimately top-shelf) for zero increase in price.  I hate subscription services in general, but there’s nothing to criticize here if they deliver as promised.

I was waiting for the right wing talking points to make their way here. The USPS does NOT lose money because it allows Jeff Bezos and Amazon to “just drop packages on the floor” and say “deliver it.” The USPS actually breaks even or makes a tiny profit on operations every year. The ONLY reason that they need a bailout

Why do you hate the Constitution?

Technically it doesn’t operate it, it just ties its hands in order to make sure it can’t profit.

Thusly, this episode of “One of Everything” was almost painful to watch because I was hungry and I haven’t had a proper deli sandwich in far, far too long.

This is the correct answer and makes complete sense.

Yeah I think for your first character it would almost always help to make the character similar to yourself in personality. So when you’re in those heavy roleplaying moments you don’t have to think “what would they say in this situation” because you just say what you would say. As you get more experienced it’s good to

There is no such thing as a good HOA. Only ones that haven’t released their inner evil yet.

Counterpoint: paying someone to tell you how you can or can’t use the property you paid for, particularly when they aren’t the government, is pure crazytown.

I’d still watch that.

It is, but I am 1000% on-board!

Data, you say? Data scoffs...

When this is all over and you make your first trip back to Las Vegas, do yourself a favor and stop by Musashi on Paradise Road. It may not only be the best teppanyaki you’ve ever had, it may be among the best meals you’ve ever had. I’ve had friends say “Yep, best filet mignon,” or “yep.. best lobster.” The owners are

We were going to do a big family dinner at a hibachi place this week, but obviously that’s out of the question.  And no, it’s not the same.

I’m upper management at a company deemed essential. We manage fed/state/mun. fleets all over the country. The owner and I traditionally never get along and some would consider him a selfish dick. He’s generous in some ways but he’s hard on staff and generally cheap. He sent me home a week before all of the state
