Elvis Schmoulianoff is credited as the model as well. I found this curious and did some googling to confirm—she is a lady called Elvis.

He didn't deliver advertising circulars?

I find it interesting what people like to read into GRRM's response. To me he just said: 'I didn't write it this way, now get off my lawn, damned kids.'

Just get J.K. Simmons to be J.J. again. I wouldn't complain about that because he IS J.J. in my eyes.

If there's "so much story to tell" with Spider-Man, maybe stop rebooting it and telling us the same story over and over?

Oh victim blaming, how original. The problem isn't young women wanting fame; but the people with power willing to exploit young people and manipulate them into thinking they don't have any other options.

Thank god someone didn't put flouride in it or there'd really be a panic.

Censorship would be banning it. Criticizing it is just as protected as publishing it. And a lot of the strongest critics of the way women are portrayed in comics are avid comic book fans. So yes, we can talk about the way female superheroes are drawn.

Anyway, up comes the opposing team captain and he kicks a screaming line drive right to me (out #1). I catch the ball chest high, center mass. I pivot slightly to my right and notice the the

I actually liked him. It was interesting to see a Starfleet Officer whose entire personality wasn't 100% Olympian perfection. He was probably a lot closer to actual ST fans than any other character.

Which would be another case of misleading with statistics, because it's not 4.6% of your hard earned money. It's 4.6% of your net taxable income over a certain threshold.

A job for which we are paid less than three dollars in hour in most places, because it's expected that you will make up the rest,um, IN TIPS!!! My paychecks are always void, as in their is no money on it b/c it all goes to taxes. If I don't get tipped for my service I can't pay my bills. To all the cheap bastards on

See, the thing is, in the US, they DON'T get paid for that. Waiters and the like can actually be paid less than the minimum wage (which is already low) and are expected to make the rest up in tips.
