Proper chefs lure in their foes and detractors in a murder/suicide plan at a restaurant on a remote island.

The whole series felt like a bunch of friends gathering to play Star Wars: A New Hope as a D&D high fantasy campaign and if you think even one word of that is a complaint or criticism you’re dead wrong. Loved it start to finish. Greydon shouldn’t have multiclassed as a magic user so late, he just didn’t have the spell…
Did they? I liked Ant-Man, but I’ll admit it’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen it. I know the MCU is sort of hit-and-miss on whether they refer to especially villains by their names or, as Peter put it, their “made up names”.
They might just call him Darren. I don’t think they ever explicitly call him “Yellowjacket” in the first movie.
If that’s Corey Stoll playing him, then I wonder if the notion is a mishap with Pym particles as an explanation for his proportions. It would be a good way of making him fit in the MCU.
Death pool?
....if this movie is about Finn’s younger sister growing tired of Duplo...
That will always be my brain canon until something that explicitly counters it comes up. Everything about the Picard/Wesley dynamic ends up making so much more sense in that light.
I’m hoping for something live action but with the energy of the LEGO Movie, and this first trailer makes me think I might be right on track with that expectation.
These are the same people who suddenly cared deeply and passionately about collegiate women’s swimming when Fox News told them to. And expressed their life-long love of Willow just as soon as they learned two women kissed. I think I’ve seen “saving Splash Mountain” in bullet lists of things they think Iger will do now…
I wonder how much of the “hate speech impressions are lower” is a redefining of hate speech, since the fine print says it tracks English-language speech with 1+ slur. Would be a heck of a way to lower those numbers if you just...took some words off the slur list.
In the end this feels like the start of Disney being maybe a little too successful. They’re releasing what would normally be five studio’s worth of movies and trying not to cannibalize their own audiences and figure out the right way to advertise everything. Currently just in the top 20 of the box office, the broad…
“The movie they don’t want you to see.”
Only one design has a dungeon AND a dragon.
Werewolf by Silent Night
That notion excited me because Peele doesn’t need Marvel, which means he wouldn’t be just stepping in to take over Eternals 2, but doing something he saw as a passion project. And yes. I’d want to see that. Same with if GdT ended up in the MCU. Or Sam Raimi (the film had its flaws by OMG was Raimi-tastic).
Sure, but now he’s learning to ride something else, being accepted by a different tribe, and being seen by new cat people. (I’m sure there’s more to it than that...at least I hope so. I get putting out at least one trailer like this that makes it clear to fans of the original that they’re going to get more of what…
I wonder if they’re confident in people just...wanting to see it and not needing to hard sell. I know the biggest joke about the ongoing cultural impact of Avatar is that it has none, but a shit ton of people still saw it.
MCU’s 2023 Christmas Special Presentation?
All the trailers are a misdirect and this will actually be a faithful remake of the Star Wars Holiday Special with Groot’s species as the Wookiees.
