I agree, there’s no warning that a specific update is going to significantly change the interface unless you closely follow tech blogs and release notes. You should expect to dedicate some time to learning and configuration when you switch to a new device or software, but you shouldn’t have to do this unexpectedly in

Not sure if it comes with a free Blizzard, but there’s a separate DQ Texas app that seems to have its own rewards program.

What about those cutoff denim short shorts with the pocket linings hanging out the bottom? I always thought they looked quite substantial but it could just be an optical illusion.

If it’s a simple 2-lane and I have the right-of-way, I often start walking before the second lane is stopped. Drivers usually get the hint when they see that you’re already in the crosswalk and you’ve still got a few feet of safety if they don’t.

Recommend putting them in the seat back pocket along with a copy of Roadmall and a magazine about exciting new Uber destinations.

I wonder if she was confused about payment authorization? Gas stations often authorize a $50 or $100 charge when you scan the card, just to make sure that the transaction will go through, but the final bill will only be for the amount you actually spend. Extra bonus points if they park in the middle of the road, next to a “No Parking” sign that has been placed on the shoulder to prevent people from pulling halfway off the road. I literally saw this happen last week.

Cell signal is still pretty spotty. The Park Service requires the antennas to be aimed toward specific roads and developed areas, rather than providing 360° coverage in the wilderness.

There’s now an official Grand Prismatic overlook and trail which opened in 2017. It’s still a step hike but much less sketchy. Park at the Fairy Falls trailhead.
