Sorry but this story is shit-stirring and mean.
I posted this on the article about ivanka and the g20, but it bears another post. Everyone should read this all the way through:
I think arguing about Trump’s credentials misses the point entirely. We have nepotism laws for a reason, it is not realistic to expect someone to provide an unbiased assessment of his immediate relatives, and in matters of state we should expect a higher standard than, “nah, it’s totally cool, m’daughter’s the best”.…
This should officially be known as the Dunning-Kruger administration.
Not when that chair is in between a Prime Minister and a President.
I, too, would like to know why the rush to judgement placed her at fault immediately before all evidence was gathered.
Exactly. His hand is right in her line of sight so she can’t easily ignore him. I’ve started high-fiving dudes who do this to me, since I work in a fast-paced environment, and it gives me great pleasure to do it and then jog away to deal with other things.
The preferred terms are “wheelchair user” or “wheelchair-using,” rather than “wheelchair-bound.”
“I am an advocate for giving states more flexibility to find better ways to deliver health care services to low-income people.”
“invitation only” town hall meeting. What a disgrace.
There’s some legal requirements on EPA regulations regarding the science. Which is the chance to push back. I don’t know how many other agencies have similar requirements that might allow us to push back against bad policy there though.
Is there anything that stops a state from banning a chemical itself? I thought California does this all the time?
This story is like someone just cut up the last six months of headlines, put them in a hat, and pulled words out at random.
Don’t worry. Soon we’ll be making another run.
Yeah, you really missed the boat on that one.
Indeed, back in January (which feels like years ago).
i am all about that loyalty line, personally.
I shouldn’t be, but I am kind of floored by Shaub emphasizing “public service is a public trust” in his resignation letter. Good for Shaub.
They’ll probably just eliminate the department entirely.
