I’d expect to see this sort of legislation coming from a lot of blue states. Finally people are waking up to the fact that reproductive rights are being seriously threatened, and that constantly meeting the GOP in the middle is a sure-fire way to shift the country right.

And just when I had forgotten what good news felt like. Thank you Oregon!

omg, what?? can it be? is this....good news? HAPPY DANCE TIME

Why be such a hater. Love won’t hurt anyone. It’s an open smile on a friendly shore. Yes... love. It’s love.

This is gooood.

A couple of the tweet-sized notes have leaked and they’re generally filled with pretty good advice:

Of course! then he can make up what they’re saying. Too bad the rest of the world also speaks English and has been protesting him in English since January:

Putin will bring menstruating women with him into a meeting to scare Trump.

Update from an American in Germany:

I will, thanks for the info.

You have a choice. Call them on their bullshit with everything you have, including your own experience, or imagine that their denial can be broken with intellectual arguments they will never accept.

I did jury duty about a year ago, and the judge repeated over and over that the jury has one job and one job only. It is to determine whether or not the individual committed a crime (and this is the important part) as charged and as defined in the state laws. Nothing more. Nothing less. As I see it, the problem with voter suppression isn’t who holds the keys. It’s the fact that they face no consequences. They pass blatantly discriminatory and unconstitutional laws right before an election, get the results they want, and then face nothing but a rollback that lets them do the same thing again a few

Korbach’s own state isnt complying with the letter, neither is Pence’s Indiana! Why dont you ask them what they are trying to hide?

That DoJ letter sure is interesting. It’s relying on this provision in federal law in terms of the EAC requesting information from the states, which to clear up any confusion, it does with regularity (the issue here is what kind of information):

Federal voter suppression doesn’t really seem like a step up to me.

Actually, voting regulation is a state right guaranteed by the 10th Amendment. This is one of the few times that states rights actually applies and the States aren’t obligated to give Trump voter data

That article title was pretty clickbait-y. He wasn’t saying the US was temporarily without leadership. He was saying the Paris agreement was temporarily without US leadership, which is a huge difference.
