My whole reason for using a harmony is WAF. (Wife acceptance Factor). Turning on the TV/Media Center should not be a frustrating experience requiring multiple steps. (TV, Input, HTPC, software, etc).

What about other people in the house?

What an amazing site. I shed a tear for the shuttle program. I've had a dream for years of seeing one of these things take off (in person).

I've loved all the Harmony Remotes I've used over the years. But now, with my one TV, a Hannspree, its just a royal PIMA. But I still have to give it up to Harmony for every other instance I've used them. (Family members, friends, etc).

Doesn't look $19 anymore. Supply and demand, being what it is

Ha..will do. I guess I have to enable all the notifications first.

My goal is to get a badge on each icon. Or at least each group. Why? I have no reason or rational.

That is true...in a few years, we'll see where it goes. I'm just crotchety and old in that aspect that I like wires over wireless, despite convenience. I like wireless for fun, but for reliability, I like wired.

I guess to each their own. Wifi is great and I use it, but with lots of devices at once, it can be pretty slow. Powerline works great for my house.

Stop running red lights. Its safer and cheaper. I hope you never accidentally harm anyone because you decided to break the established system of taking turns indicated by the red and green lights.

Wireless is still much slower than wired. I have powerline networking rather than running cat5. I don't see wired going away anytime soon.

I agree with much of what you said. And actually, disagree more-so with the article. This applies to some tech users. Maybe thats his kid. But the average user will continue to use most of these things for a long while.

Long as they can cast Melissa Joan Hart in this one, and Larisa Oleynik in the Alex Mack

"while on the iphone?"

That sucks. I'm mostly mobile now, and would love to strip out that info on the phone, before I upload/send/etc

No..I dont...

On that note..is anyone familiar with a good app (JB or not) which allows you to edit/view/strip EXIF data while on the iphone?

I've been partially cable free. We get free cable, but Ive used cable free methods for years. I never watch live TV. Whenever we watch, its our media center.

I think very few people know what Steve would have actually done. He had his own visions. And quite often, they flew in the face of apparent logic. (1 button mouse).

Yea..that's a bit steep. Unless you get to keep the drive.
