I'm in the middle of my first backup to Crashplan. about 13 days in. So far, I've had minimal issues.

The other thing is that at the end of the year, I have all my expenses, income, etc broken down into categories. When I do budgeting, taxes, etc, its all laid out. I think it was $60 or less, and it has served for many years. I've only upgraded once since 2005 or so.

Yes, but now I don't have to check every single credit card, every single bank account individually. Big difference. Single interface for everything. Less 2 minutes to check several bank accounts, credit cards, investment accounts, etc? Worth it.

This is one of the reasons that I love using Quicken. That 2 minutes every day of checking the daily transactions means I won't ever have a surprise at the end of the billing cycle. If someone uses my card, I'll know within 24 hours, not at the end of the month.

This is a really poor argument against QR codes or subway reception. People being obnoxious an argument against cell phone service in the subway.

My QR reader saves the history of scans so I can look later.

My wife and I are the same. You can build a XBMC front end on an apple TV with a cheap box with HDs for storage. Storage and obtaining the media is the hardest part. Usenet. And just get a device like WD Live, or for pretty, use XBMC on AppleTV. Build a media PC with a Revo like device for a bit more coin.

A quick email, and they removed the association.

Just remember you heard it here first #myidea

Unfortunately, unless you wipe it every time you touch it, there's always a slight imprint.

The one lock feature I really want is a rotating number pad. Every time you try to unlock, the numbers have shifted places, preventing a finger grease attack.

For convenience, sadly, I do. Having a keyboard is one thing, but thumbing out a 8+ letter sequence every time can be annoying. Especially when you dont have both hands free.

Good question..it should be a secure erase that would render this device useless

Unfortunately, you lose the trade off of quick unlock. I think there should be a locking system that allows you to set rules based on location (geo location, wifi, facial recognition, and/or fingerprint) or just a pattern system not unlike android.

They won't actually have your FB account. FB just provides the authentication. No usernames/passwords are passed through.

How can I change which account I'm associated with? I clicked to convert, not realizing that in a closed tab, one of my accounts was logged in. Not the one I wanted to use for this.

I think this article was a great synopsis of what my wife and I were saying. A few big things I felt that were left out:

Does the receiver require a JB iphone? I'd think not but it cant hurt to ask

Is there a way to change which account is linked? Apparently I was logged into one of my Google accounts (tab closed, browser open), and I wanted to use a different one. No prompt, just said it was converted.

This is my punishment for not checking LH on weekends. I have to wait til I have free time next weekend to install. WAAAAH!
