I cannot understand how dense the movie industry (theater industry?) is being. 3D is fad. Some movies may look cool, but most dont. And the price of movies is already absurd. You think raising the cost of a movie is going to help anything?

If they were used more, I would. I've seen ads or posters wtih a QR code. I've scanned them and its been cool. I've seen it for installing an app. (it was the hotel's app, and the QR code was on the TV).

I think the iPad 2 had similar problems.

I suggest getting a smart phone. Then you don't need to have a big issue with these things.

Or acknowledge why your company has strict rules. You can be a mom and pop grocery store, or the Department of Defense. Needs are different.

Or...you don't work in an office that has many security concerns. Every business is different. Some don't care if their employees are on facebook. Others have propriety software and code they can't risk losing.

I don't have my nerd card, clearly, since I don't know who a lot of these are. But I maintain my Geek card for being a techie, and knowing the important stuff. Most comic books, Dr. Who, etc.

The 'great' improvement? A SD card slot. I realize this would kill the 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB models..but seriously. How many owners wouldn't go buy a new one with a SD card slot.

So true. I've been made aware of many instances in a family members school where teachers will no longer get involved with students more than they legally have to. They've been burned by a parent or student who has lied, exaggerated or just went off the deep end for attention or to 'get revenge for a bad grade'.
