Thank you for the reminder. I've been meaning to sign up for Crash Plan as soon as I get home

I've wanted something like this. Make it bluetooth and have it slip onto your keychain, or a bracelet. Something...

I have my phone locked. But the lock screen is a custom message which offers a reward and return information. (Who to contact, etc)

Thats a rare but great story. Were the contents of the wallet intact?

I'm using a Revo 3610 Win7/XBMC and a WD Live in a different room. its a good device, so I don't have a dire need to replace it. But when I have a 3rd tv, then we'll talk turkey.

When its jailbroken with XBMC, that's when I'll first consider this one.

Good to know.... thanks!

Oh.. I knew about the code. But I didn't think someone would blatantly say something so idiotic. I've also heard Mondays, instead of Canadians.

Am I missing something with the Canadian comments?

"If you could download a car, would you?"

Echoing what many said here.... 15% is a minimum. 20-25% for good service. If its terrible, then maybe 10-15%, but the service has to be pretty bad.

Thats stupidly brilliant. +1 bathroom Internets to you

If you don't have a passcode lock on, consider it a gift to the thieves. Always turn it on!

Don't Allow Changes to Location Services. (I set this after going through and blocking most of the stuff listed. But leave Location Services on so Find My iPhone will work.)

If you have a Jailbroken iphone, how does the update process work? (I'm on my first iPhone). Do I just update to a jailbroken patch, or do I update to OS 5.1, which undoes my JB, then re-JB it, and add all my apps back?

I have a powerline switch at one spot, and a single plug adapter near the router, as well as a single plug adapter at another remote spot. All work like a dream.

I agree, wireless is still needed. But for any sort of media streaming or computers in other locations, I like having wired. Reliability, interference, etc.

Instead of wiring the home, use a solution like Powerline. I've set it up in 3 homes of different ages and it works great. Its not as fast as wired, but its faster than wireless and way too easy to set up.

Double layer?

Ubikey?
