hard agree. I have a tesla in Washington and spend a good amount of time in the wilderness area of Gifford Pinchot. They have warning signs about the lack of gas stations in that area, let alone electric charging. I feel like this is East Coast bias, here in the wild west is can be VERY far between points of

Like others on this board I too worry about the gadget-y aspects of all these new vehicles. The base mechanicals of an electric are far less complicated than an ICE vehicle but all the extra stuff? These are ultimately low production number vehicles and the VAST majority of us are used to buying mass market cars and

I’m here for this. Designed by the Bene Tleilax.

Why on earth does this electric have the highly divisive “buck toothed” grill on it? Are we naturally aspirating our electrics now?

Lots of municipalities allow bikes to ride on sidewalks with little issue. Seattle has a massive bike culture and allows bikes on sidewalks. Few however do so at speed.

These are facts. JBLM is a lot like seattle though, because the base is so huge there is no way to create a bypass and of course, it sits adjacent to the sound.

Dude, you’re replying to a person that said the government is bad at logistics. The army practically invented logistics. I’d save your breath man.

this  guy weekend warriors :). It’s not the perfect vehicle for everything I do but it covers every use case for what I want to do. It’s a swiss army knife of compromises and I can live with that.

agree with the cool colors but it’ll be a cold day in hell before I go back to cloth seats. they are dust collection machines, too hot in the summer, stain and impossible to clean and are grippy on all my clothes. that’s gonna be a no from me dog.

this is the correct take. Bedliners, if not spray on, trap dirt and moisture.

i totally get this is a joke response but there are sensors now that can detect illegal substances and potentially even cancer. I think it might be possible they COULD detect certain compounds.

I wonder if all of this is just a symptom of a race to the bottom. My assumption is contracts for trucking goods are won, like they are in most industries and a huge factor would be price. If you’re the one company paying more you won’t be the low bidder and won’t win the contract and won’t have the job.

The question is ultimately one of energy storage. Hydrogen is one way. Batteries (which is a class of storage not chemistry) are another. I don’t know if H or Li are where we’ll be in 20 years, I suspect neither and we’ll be using large capacitors with rapid cycles.

I don’t think you’re wrong it’s just that there is a great desire to stay brand loyal. I’ve only driven toyotas for basically, ever? And unfortunately they don’t make a product I want right now save for the RAV4 Prime which are not full BEV and impossible to get. I think a lot of people feel like me that they are

My last brake job in a major city was $600. You don’t like BEVs. Fine but your straw man arguments are lame.

Maybe toyotas are shitty (highly unlikely) since that is all I’ve driven for the past 20 years and while I’ve had to occasionally replace suspension parts as you’ve mentioned, I’ve replaced far more O2 sensors, brakes and other pieces of the exhaust chain than I have any piece of suspension. Not to mention radiators

thank you for sending the response I was about to type.

Man Texas REALLY hates renewables! /jk

This is absurd bullshit. Overeating is one path to obesity but it’s hardly the only one. A shot is a choice, one time and doesn’t change your lifestyle.

That is what Italy is doing. I also agree, this is the correct approach.
